Ian Oliver is an expert in international enterprise development, new market entry, international sales, and corporate responsibility programs.
Ian has worked in international business development for more than 20 years in more than two dozen countries. His focus on African markets began early in his career, in the late 1990’s, just after his graduation from American University in Washington, D.C., when he was recruited to lead continent-wide program development and growth for health solutions at the largest development institution in the U.S. This work and his natural relationship-building talents and strategic planning skills formed the foundation of Ian’s expertise in African markets that ISI leverages today, including a vast professional network across Africa from Fortune 100 leaders, to government agencies and private sector businesses active in the region.

Managing Director
Ross is an expert in international sales, marketing, new market development, and operations. Prior to ISI, Ross held various senior executive level positions at a wide array of both U.S. and internationally headquartered corporations for more than 20 years.
Spanning B2B and B2G market segments ranging from software to pharmaceuticals to engineering and construction, Ross developed exceptional skill in analysis, planning, and implementing successful sales and business development strategies in diverse markets, across four continents, to deliver sustained international growth
With a lifelong focus on international business and new market development, Ross brings immense experience and knowledge to ISI’s client base, helping produce focused, phased new market entry strategies that deliver results.
Mahmoud Al Hani
Director, ISI Libya
Mahmoud manages ISI’s activities and team in Libya. He specializes in engineering project management consulting and business development. Previously a site engineer and project manager at NESSCO Libya, Mahmoud is now a country director at ISI and the general manager of Emaar Libya Engineering Company. Supporting a number of high profile projects that include the Wadi Ahmer Dam Project, Harawa and Wade Ahmer Pipeline and Pump Station, and the Gurdaby-Sdada Pump Station, Mahmoud has extensive experience in hydroelectric power engineering and systems. He brings electromechanical construction, operations, procurement expertise along with solid marketing and sales abilities.

Director, ISI Algeria
Moussa manages ISI’s activities and team in Algeria. He has extensive experience in business management and is extremely knowledgeable in the energy sector with a focus on the power industry in Algeria. He’s well versed in local regulations, taxation, and probity practices, and he has a deep understanding of the local cultures and entrepreneurial practices. He is an expert in project management and strategic planning, the financial arrangement of energy projects, and negotiation.
David Leishman
Director, Oil & Gas
David has specialized in the oil, gas, and petrochemical industries for more than 40 years. His experience includes management, strategic business development, and contract negotiation. David has held both onshore and offshore project management roles in the petrochemical sector and has held numerous business development roles for major international manufacturers, process engineering organizations, and design firms. His work in consulting and mediation adds to his ability to help organizations navigate complex challenges.
